This is a high clearance DIY weld-together rear bar kit for the (1991-1997) 80 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX450. It provides absolute protection for the rear of your Land Cruiser and the high clearance design hugs the factory rear crossmember for unbeatable ground clearance and departure angle. Simply put, you can not get any more rear end clearance without cutting the frame and body! This bumper is a direct replacement for the factory rear bumper. This means that no cutting or modification of any factory components is required for the installation of this bumper. Simply unclip the factory rear bumper and mounting brackets and bolt this bumper onto your Land Cruiser!
The end result is a bumper that features entirely bolt-on construction, an optional 2" hitch receiver, and excellent protection from trail obstacles, trees and incompetent motorists. This bumper comes standard with 9/16" D-ring shackle mounts that pull directly off of the frame for reliable recoveries in the worst of offroad situations. To protect the vulnerable rear corners of your Land Cruiser, this bumper is available with optional tubing side hoops that will help push your Land Cruiser away from trees and rock walls.
The swing out tire carrier comes in either a single or dual sided configuration and is built to accept a tire up to 35" in diameter. Both carriers include mounting brackets for a hilift jack and other recovery items. The dual swing out includes the hilift mount as well as a lockable jerry can holder designed to fit two 20L NATO style jerry cans. These carriers feature heavy duty double heim joint hinges, 2000lb toggle latches, T-handle spring pins, and a replaceable UHMW catch pad that provides secure, rattle free operation. The heim joints in conjunction with the toggle latch provide tons of adjustability, allowing for easy assembly and guaranteed alignment of the carrier latch. The single swing out add-on weighs 34lbs and the dual swing out add-on with gas can holder weighs 77lbs.
Note :Ā optional lights will be provided with tabs to mount the lights either on the swing outs or on top of the bumper.

As a horseback adventure company you can apprieciate, space on the pack horses can be limited and the fact that the bucket takes up little space is a huge bonus for us. Carrying water in remote environments is a necessity especially for the horses and the buckets are strong and durable. Great idea thanks guys
